Gilbert syndrome and iron levels

can gilberts syndrome cause iron levels to be off? Iron and total bonding iron are high. ferratin is 15 normal is 16.

    You should test your copper levels. Or just take copper if you want to lower iron. But copper have to be slightly higher the middle of reference range in order to maintain healthy iron metabolism. And yes, gilbert's synrome can cause iron overload as well as every other disease related to vitamins and metals malabsorption, because it is what high bilirubin do.
