In my case it was keeping still and doing nothing that made it worse as one of my problems with GS was panic attacks so my body was getting flooded with adrenaline. I found being more active eased the nausea a lot, especially exercising and using light weights with high repetitions. Sadly there are still days when I feel so sick my hands and entire body shake and just have to wait it out. I know cases vary - are you actually physically sick?
I often have stomach upsets with it, but no matter how nauseous I feel I have yet to actually vomit.
Wishing you and everyone else on here the best of luck with this annoying condition.

As far the nausea it was so frustrating simply because of it's randomness.
Before the GS diagnosis my doctor was convinced it was just panic attacks and had me talking a poor counsellor into silence for 1yr before I gave up later on I found out panic attacks were a sympton of GS so when the nausea hits suddenly I've found breathing exercises to be useful when I feel very sick. Taking a breath, holding it for 5-10 seconds and then breathing out slowly. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt. But after 16yrs I've more or less reluctantly accepted it. If that doesnt work, I just lay down and try to sleep it off. But neither of these are ideal solutions.
