Ginger : a herbal tea for severe bloating and intestine's gas+stomach reflex

Posted , 4 users are following.

In my previous posts I've explained about Ginger use for people who have a cold , or influenza ...

But for the ones who suffer from IBS like me,

Ginger is an amazing remedy for any bacterial disease and infection in stomach and intestines.

Even it cures burning pain in stomach and reflex.

Unfortunately, I have reflex, and Ginger during a short time made me feel better.

I also suffer from IBS and constant bloating and constipation.

Recently using Ginger has helped me ,to a large extent, to get rid of the gas in my abs.

?Try to dissolve a half teaspoon of Ginger in hot water and add have tablespoon of natural honey to make it sweet and drink it when it is a bit warm.

Three times a day is enough.

Keep drinking this herbal tea for a few days and see the fantastic result of that.

I always try different remedies and if they work for me , I will share them with you.

I hope they can help some of you.

Good luck!

    Hi Jennifer98521,

I have recently been diagnosed with mild gastritis and reflux, do you think the ginger would help me? May I ask what reflex is, or do you mean reflux?

      Hey Vicki,

      Ya, Exactly,

      I meant Stomach ReflUx.

You know, my case is gas , Reflux , some burning pain in my stomach and sometimes it is mildly painful like yours.

-Very accidentally after a terrible flu I've tried that remedy to destroy the flu bacteria and after a day I've noticed not only my flu but the pain in my stomach tremendously disappeared.

I'd better mention, now my pain is like on and off but NOT as much as before and NOT like a permanent, non-stop one.

Caution 1: In cases related to Ulcer, I'm not sure this herbal tea could make the condition better or worse!!!!!

Caution 2: this hebal tea (GiNGER) is recommended to be taken in cold seasons and not hot season like summer because of its warm temperament.

I hope It can work for you and give me and others the good news of feeling relieved finally.

      Hi Sheila,

If you check my reply to Vicki you will see I've had a great change in a short time,

as getting acid was one of main issues related to my stomach.

By this herbal tea I could stop the extra acid secretion from stomach ,to a large extent.

I feel better now since I'm taking Ginger.

I'm looking forward to hearing good news from you.

      Hi sheila35264,

I was advised to not have peppermint in any form as it relaxes the esophagus muscle (I forgot the special name for it) and allows acid up.  I get told so many different things. Do you find the peppermint tea helps you?

Hi vicki  I have found that drinking peppermint does help abit but it does cause acid to come up which isn't very nice. I am going to try ginger and peppermint and see if that helps

If peppermint is causing acid, I would discontinue it.  It is especially bad if you already have acid reflux.  Ginger is also very acidic so it could make the acid much worse if you combine it with peppermint which is already causing acid.

Ginger is too acidic for me and increases reflux and stomach burning.

I have tried ginger and peppermint tea and the ginger was the same for me very acidic and burning i have gone back to just peppermint but I have to take a antacid tablet after

Peppermint obviously doesn't agree with you either if you have to take an antacid afterwards.  I would avoid peppermint altogether and try a different remedy.  Peppermint is not good if you suffer from acid reflux because it relaxes the oesophageal sphincter and lets the acid spew out.  I have a weak oesophageal sphincter.
