Girl called to tell me she got herpes

She told me around 10 days later than we were together to tell me she got diagnosed with herpes a week ago, but that maybe she got it after the encounter (which would leave a narrow window of a couple days).

1 or 2 days after that I noticed some tingling inside my lip, I don't known if I'm still in the time window so I'm freaking out if I have to stay with this my whole life.

Could this be herpes?
