Herniated three discs in June. Here we are November and I've had two MRI scans seen three surgeons, started physio to help me walk, had Adult social services put hand rails up and now I have been referred to pain management. They won't give me a date when I will b seen merely saying thy haven't received my referral. Strang as I received my copy letter to the gp from th surgeon saying basically I have disc problems not just in my lumber which are herniated but also in my neck and osteo in the rest of my spine. I am in agony and not having any feeling in one foot despite the nerve tests coming back negative I keep falling

why don't they go after people who say they can't work but manage to do other things not those with MRI scans gps letters and on enough medication to sedate an elephant and yet it doesn't touch the edge of the pain?

Them eventually sent me for a MRI. He told me I'd got oa in my neck and to basically carry on. Went back several times with pain in my shoulder and left arm. On 3 different types of pain killers for it all. Had an app with community orthopaedic service last week and got told that from my MRI 12 months ago I've got 3 prolapsed docs in my neck!! He's ordered another MRI to see if it's got worse cause the pain has. He did say that cause I carried on working ( cashier) that it stands a good chance it's worse.
I've also got mild oa in my hips, knee and hands but nothing's been done for them at all. Doc said cause your on all the pain killers then that should help but it don't! Had to have sick leave from work now cause I can't take the pain when working. Been asking if I should just give it up all together but now I've got up wait for the new results to come back and take it from there.
