Hello, I just had my gland removed 2 weeks ago. I had my surgery on a Friday and was told I could return to work on Monday. I ended up going back on Wednesday because of a reaction to the antibiotics and still being in some pain. I just went in for my two weeks post-op appointment and the doctor said it looks great. I was very relieved to hear her say this because I was really worried about how it looked. I am however still swollen and have minor discomfort from rubbing, which the doctor said was normal. My doctor removed what was left of my dissolvable stitches today and it feels better. Recovery is taking a little longer than I expected good luck!

How has your recovery been going? Have you had any more issues?

I'm feeling about 90% normal. Still a little sensitive after intercourse but all-in-all much better. Went through a phase about a month ago of increase sensitivity and thought I might have some nerve damage but that has since gone away. I can still feel the scar tissue but no bump like before. How are you doing?

im still having some trouble. I can feel the scar tissue as well so that makes me feel better. i just went back today because where they removed the gland has been bleeding. they told me its still healing but its been almost 5 months so i dont know why it would randomly start to bleed when i havent had intercourse or anything since the removal.

I agree that doesn't sound right. Did they remove all your stitches or did they leave dissolvable in? They left the dissolvable in mine and I feel like they took way longer to dissolve then my doctor said it would.

2 weeks since gland removal and numbness is gone but i developed a seroma 😦 don't know if i need to go to the doctor for it or not 😕 afraid it will calcify into a permanent knot and require more surgery 😦 hoping it will resolve itself

Good luck I am about 4 months out of surgery and still having issues. Pain, numbness, tingling and urinating myself at times.
