Glandular fever and hair loss

I contracted glandular fever in December. Since March, I have suffered with extreme hair loss which isn't getting any better. I have told my doctor but haven't been given an explanation. Please can someone tell me if they have also suffered with bad hair loss since having glandular fever? I feel so alone and I want to have some hope to know that it will stop as it is getting worse. I have researched and haven't seen any links with EBV to hair loss. Please can someone tell me that they've experienced the same?
