I suggest interferon. I'm on it too. It's the only way to be sure you won't have complications.

    Hi Rosanna,

I had a horrible flu after 2 months after first learning I had glandular fever....it was horrible and like you made me worry how much my body could take. Try not to worry though, your body can withstand it and it won't develop into anything like pneumonia, it's just your body gets more susceptible when under the cosh from the virus and unfortunately these things can happen.

Take plenty of rest at this time, I mean really rest and get some vitamins into you and keep warm, etc until the flu part passes over - which it most definitely will. Thinking of you still.

    Hi Rosanna,

My daughter had the flu about six weeks ago and came through ok, the body is pretty amazing in what it can withstand,

      Craig and Mono,

Clearly our immune systems  are not that strong because it's taking forever to recover from mono. When billions of people are sick for a few weeks only.

I don't know why you guys are so against immune boost by interferon.

      Hi Gee,

I really hope you are feeling not too bad today. I'm not against any immune boost, I just don't know enough about anything like that. I can only really speak from my own experiences and knowledge, in that it is normal that many people (the majority of adults who catch the virus I believe) take more than a few weeks to recover - I think in children and younger teenagers it can be much easier to get over from what I gather.

Anyway, just wishing everyone well and let you know I'm still thinking about you all and rooting for your recovery.

      Craig
