glans and foreskin inflammation

Posted , 6 users are following.

It's been 6-7 months that I have this problem. During these months and following the treatment the glans skin has changed, now seems stable but continues to be irritated and the problem is not solved. The skin is irritated and dry. Different times of the day I feel burning sensations and feeling like I had scratches. The symptoms are more evident immediately after lunch and dinner. Glans and foreskin are sticky and sensitive. During erection my skin feels inelastic and reddened. I tried zinco cream and hydrocortisone cream. Please help me.

What "treatment" have you had?  Nothing that I can see wrong apart from some thickening at the urinary opening.

Possibly see a doctor?  But I would guess nothing serious or urgent

I have seen much doctors all but one claim that I do not have anything serious but have now gone six seven months and I still have this constant irritation, that bothers me to physical activity and sex. The treatments were based creams vitamin f creams based on zinc and hydrocortisone cream. My initial diagnosis that I think were wrong were seborroide dermatitis, candida and after that many have told me that I had nothing except one who said that I have a genital lichen planus. I still have not figured out what I know is that I do not go away.

While I doubt it is an STI have you ever thought of going to an STI clinic where they are experts at penises?

That said it is very difficult I'd guess in that there seems nothing to see

I was by urologist and made me the urethral swab and urine test, both negative. I was visited by many dermatologists, all of them treatments made have not led to the results ... I do not know where to go ...

      Hey Mark!

I have the same issue and had it for about a year. Have you found a solution yet?

I have the same thing for About a year going to the second one. It was not like that before. All my tests have been negative, including HPV which is my highest concerne. I also read that it could be balanitis or balanopostitis which is the same thing including foreskin. I also read a lot Of guys reporting the same thing andno one knows what it is... I'd love some feedback.

Look thomas... I've been examined couple of times, for chlamydia and other stds, nothing. Even recently, again, nothing. I've done blood tests countless times either, nothing. I'm starting to worry I might contract something for having my veins pierced so many times. MY GUESS is that it is HPV. Because it started after having sex with a girl (took some months of course), prior to it I had NOTHING. So I think it's HPV because:

      1. It's very common.

      2. Everything else is negative.

      3. It's the only thing that can't be confirmed for males.

      4. If it were some bacteria or fungus it would've been detected, virus are way smaller.

      5. I had warts on my fingers about 1 year later. They say the strain that cause warts on the hands/skin are not the same as the genital ones, but I never had warts before.

      5. It is the only thing left to confirm.

If you have or had a girl, try getting her checked. Her diagnosis will be yours.

FUNNY THING: the girl I had sex with tested negative for HPV... BUT the test was done 5 months later... so I can't be relieved by that.
