glans problems

Posted , 8 users are following.

I had thrush this time last year and it caused quite a few problems it took a chunk of skin off the top of my glans and I developed visible blood vessels and red patches on the underside as well as it becoming terribly wrinkled and disgusting looking after an erection after using canesten cream for a few weeks the skin on the top started to heal over (though it still hasn't fully) but the other problems still haven't improved

I was wondering if anyone had a clue what might improve this I've tried a penile moisturiser and some e-45 cream so far, I've been considering trying bio-oil or some steroidal cream

pics are flaccid erect and post erection

bro, I have same thing, not diagnosed as thrush but likely , i dont know , but the wrinkling, shiny skin, looks ok hard inflated, awful deflated. so much conflicting info. i tried 2 weeks thrush cream. steroid cream can make things worse (as well as help many people) so be careful, loads of online threads of people regretting steroid creams, thinning the skin, causing atrophy of the skin.

am starting to think the wrinkiling is as result of all the creams i tried. going to try a few weeks just water cleaning and see if can start to heal . really getting me down man!

I'm saving the steroid cream as like a last throw of the dice if nothing else works, I'm going to try sudocrem and if that fails just coconut oil and no masturbating for a few months, if that doesn't work then I'll probably try steroid cream

yeah weirdly i tried coconut oil and it seemed to make the really red blotchy rash come back . did you get diagnosed with the initial thrush ? was there ever any initial itching? i not had any itching at all

other creams that others say really helped them are "Dermol 500" man1man cream and others . I think keeping it moist helps appearance but whether that good for the infection is another issue

K, you do not say whether you are regularly sexually active, or perhaps have a regular sex partner and are less likely to use protection, perhaps?

Your penile skin certainly had a severe reaction to the thrush - and if this was about a year ago, healthy skin should have recovered by now. This suggests you have something else going on, and this is why I asked whether you have a regular sex partner. I would also wonder whether you have any skin problems elsewhere on the body, or even whether you have a general health issue going on, such as ANY form of an autoimmune condition.

The only medical specialist that can help you with this, based on your relevant medical history is a Dermatologist, or even better still, a Dermatologist who specialises in Genital Skin Disorders.

Your genital skin has been compromised for far too long now, this is not going to sort itself out, no matter what you try on your penile skin.

While I personally think returning genital skin to its natural state is the best general advice to give anyone experiencing genital skin issues - that is, applying nothing to it, and letting it recover, naturally - as I say, you are way past that point.

The skin on your glans needs the right medication, and yes, this is most likely to be a steroidal ointment - only a Dermatologist can prescribe the correct medication and treatment regime for you based on what your general health and sexual activity circumstances actually are ........

I have something that looks similar. But meatus feels sore sometimes. Sometimes stings when I pee and sometimes it doesn't.

    Hi!

I've had a similar problem, it seems that leaving it alone, without more masturbation or sex for a while, could help. But im still waiting for a better resolution.

hello mate did you ever recover from this , i would be really keen to see some more photos because what you described is almost identical to me as mine started with a chunk of skin coming of and it has not been the same since , shiny wrinkles after an erection and blood vessels just like mine
