What specific lens did you have implanted? I had a AcrySof IQ Aspheric monofocal lens put in a little over a year ago. I have not had any issues with glare. So far I have only had one eye done.

That is a basic monofocal aspheric lens, and Bausch+Lomb are a reputable manufacturer. B+L are less common in North America as Alcon and J&J seem to have most of the market. The only think I see as a bit different with this lens is that it has a 4 point alignment system rather than the more flexible haptic system used on Alcon and J&J lenses. I also see it comes in three different sizes which is probably because of the lower flexibility of the fit. Here it is common to give you a card with the lens model details and serial number after the procedure is completed. If you have that you could check to see if they perhaps used a different size lens, and that fit may be an issue..

      .

The bottom line is that if you have the problem in one eye and not the other, then something must be wrong. Possible that the lens is not centered, or tilted. I think I would be going back to surgeon for an examination to see what may be wrong. Or, you may want to get a second opinion from another surgeon.
