Glasses prescription never right

Posted , 3 users are following.

I'm fed up with fighting with optometrists. Ever time I get new glasses I have the same problem. My progressives work fine for distance and up close but the in-between, which I use for the computer screen is OFF. If I turn my head to the right, my left eye gets a clear view, if I turn my head to the left, my right eye gets a clear view. But the clear spot does not line up! I go back, I complain, they say I'll get used to them, but it's not RIGHT. Is there an expert here who can give me the right jargon to use to get through? They talk down to you.

I always get a separate pair with just the reading prescription. I put up with the sort of problems you are having for some time but this was the best idea. The most expensive lenses were better but not perfect.

If you want custom made specs made specifically for your eyes it will be expensive.
