Globus?

Hi

I have had the sensation that something is stuck right around and above my Adams apple for six weeks. The feeling comes and goes and gets worse under stress. I have had tests done on my thyroid, a laryngoscopy, and a ultrasound of my neck. All tests came back negative. I can eat and drink with no complication. The ENT put me on high doses of anti acid medications but that has not helped. I'm freaking out as to what the issue is. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I had the same symptoms that you are talking about. Started in September 2019. Went to my ENT 3 months later as it never seemed to go away. Had an Endoscopy and was diagnosed with Silent Reflux. I was prescribed 20 mg of Omeprazole for 2 months. It just so happens that my wife had additional 4 months worth of that med in her cabinet, so i continued to take it since my symptoms did not go away. I'm happy to say that those symptoms are almost gone now.

      Glad you are better but could you please explain what your symptoms were please as i have similar. Mine also started in September 2019, I was sent the the ENT who did the camera up the nose and said it was all healthy and it was probably Globus. Thank you for your help.
