Hi I have the same feeling of thick mucus down throat when I swallow, at night it's worse, I was given globus diagnosis a month ago, it really does feel like there's a lump there, but was told at ent clinic there isn't a lump. I get pins and needles on my face on side and ear ache as well, I am a massive worrier but am trying to think they've looked and there can't be a lump. I get very sore throat as well they're going to take tonsils out soon. My fiends sister is going to ent with same lump in throat symptom. It seems  common dr I saw said it is very common.. I sometimes get very tired with it. Feels like something stuck in left side at back of throat. I was advised to cut down on coffee and drink more water cos caffeine dries throat and makes it feel worse. Wish it would go. I know how you feel.

I was also advised not to take any medication and to sip water, I've been doing this now for nearly 7 months - I'm a big tea drinker though so in view of your advice might go and find some non caffeine tea.  Keep strong.x
