globus hystericus or globus sensation

i've been depressed for a while now because of globus. it's constantly on my mind, i try to do things and sometimes it works but not all the time. after a while the sensation just comes back. this all started in july last year when i suddenly noticed there was a lump constantly there i've had speech and language therapy that didn't do anything, i've went through counselling, it sort of helped but didn't do much. i've had hypnotherapy that does really help me but it only lasts a few days. it makes u feel more positive about things and calms down your anxiety, so i suggest that people who have this condition should definitely do that. i've done stretches to ease the tension and it has worked but i'm not noticing any difference with the globus
i have a sore throat nearly all the time and it really gets me down, i'm constantly swallowing because i can't get it out my head, i struggle to eat sometimes because it's sore and half the time i've lost my appetite and it has caused me to have depression
this condition can get annoying and can be very irritating but i suggest to people who are also struggling with globus is to drink plenty of water and warm honey to ease it a bit, that helps! i also use to sing and now i've lost confidence because of this and it hurts and is so sore to sing, but does anyone know if you can sing with globus? and any suggestions for what else i can do? i've tried literally everything and it's making me so depressed i lose hope

We've been discussing this problem for months
Every one thinks it either has a relationship with anxiety or acid
To me is about bacteria in your throat
Doesn't it happens after you eat ?
Well
Bacteria feeds on food that is high on anything that turns into sugar
Start your day with a spoon of olive oil to lubricate your throat
Avoid anything that turns into sugar
If you can have your doctor check your breath for bacteria
Is a hard life !

Hi Amylily,
I just wanted to reach out and say that we all do our best to deal with this condition. I wish I knew the answer to fix it, but I don't. The thing that has helped me most is to start believing that it can heal. Before I was sure I would be this way forever. Now, even though I still have it, it is not that bad. There is a lot worse out there if you know what I mean. I think, look into what your eating and do the best you can for your body. Also, please keep singing! Do not stop because of this.
Be well, Deon
