Glomus tumor

Hello everyone, I was told this Tuesday, so 3 days ago that I possibly have a Glomus tumor growing in my head. I don't know the exact location as I am still waiting for a consultant/neurosurgeon to contact me (was told it might be up to 2 weeks to be contacted!), but already know it is 2 cm big. I am scared to death and don't know what will happen to me, and especially my family. I have a 4 year old and a 7 month old daughter.

Is there anyone who went through the same? Would appreciate any and all information on this condition, as I believe Google was not my friend this time, as it made things slightly worse.
