Gluten free could help.

I've been on Zoloft for about 6 months and it has definitely worked but I was at maybe 80%. Able to function but the anxiety was always looming. I was diagnosed with celiac disease last week and was put on a strict gluten free diet. Within days my energy levels went through the roof. In a week my depression and anxiety is not only non existent but ive felt but ive felt better than I have in years.

Now full disclosure I have a disease that basically poisons me when I eat wheat. This may not be the answer for you but I know many of you are willing to.do.anything to feel better. So give it a shot why not?

Hello, I too was diagnosed with celiac in May which may have been going on for some time as I now have advanced osteoporosis, and a subsequent spinal compression fracture, I've been 100% gluten free since the end of May however some of the sunrooms has balanced out but the depresion & anxiety remains, which I'm consulting the GP tomorrow as the current sertraline dose may need revisiting.

I wish you all the luck as I can sympathise the gluten free diet is a challenging new way of life.

My anxiety depression was brought on by feeling like death everyday for years. Vertigo was my main culprit. When I started to feel better and had a clear reason why I was so sick my whole outlook changed. Good luck to you friend.
