Hi Suzanne, like the other lady said go to your docs, sounds like symptoms of peri- menopause, hormones make you emotional, it's not uncommon and use a large evening primrose oil for starters, they are very good, and may help, I feel for you.

    Good Luck!  Xx

You are not going mad - it's just that Perimenopause isn't on the public radar and when it hits us hard we don't know what it is. This website has been wonderful for me - yes, I thought I was losing my mind as well. On here you will meet loads of women who will share their experiences and support you through this horribly destabilising time. We all experience menopause differently but I have most certainly had your symptoms of shaking, weeping and feeling panicked. Have a roam around this site and find threads that you feel are relevant to you. And just look in that mirror and tell yourself that you are not going mad - your hormones are just having a crazy shakeup. Be kind to yourself. Big hugs.

    Hi

Sorry you are going through this

I've had no results on bloods but know that I am definitely going through something - I have so many symptoms including panics weakness etc

I am practicing breathing, being kind to myself, walking if needs be,

You are not going mad, if it's hormones it's very tough

You'll be OK - try and focus on something that you are doing, be in the moment - it should pass.

    My thoughts are with you

I started getting like this when I was about 45. At the time I had no idea why I felt like that.  I thought I was suffering from depression and went onto anti depressant medication.  Anything would set me off.  I watched my favourite soapie on TV and one of the characters died.  I was inconsolable!  I wish I had known then why I was feeling so unstable.  This forum is a big help though.

It's an awful time but it will eventually pass dear.  A lady on here suggested B75 Complex vitamins and they really helped.  It calms the system down.  Good for

PMS moods too.  Perimenopause is like really bad PMS moods. 😀😀 xxoo

You are not mad, and it is probably just hormones.  Go to your doctor, but do not overconcern, what you are feeling looks pretty much like peri. Be well!

hi suzanne, yeah i get like this at times, i have found that deep breathing helps the panic attacks and meditation, when i want to cry, i just do it if it needs to happen let it, i found that holding it in made the shaking etc worse. Hang on in there, and keep on this forum, brilliant advice from all these wonderful women who are going through the same things, it is really helping me and i know now that i am not going insane or dying!!! you are not mad, you are a beautiful woman and together we will all come out the other side of this, love and light xx

Others have said it first and best, but you're not going crazy.  It's probably menopause and even thought it's "normal" if your symptoms aren't tolerable, there are probably treatments out there to make them better.  Stay on this site... read the other strings... and keep talking!  Big hugs, Kim

Yesm it can be normal.  I visited my son and his family last month and withing 10 days I had become weepy at 6 or 7 times.  Its the hormones.  I started HRT 5 weeks ago and stopped crying.  Everyone tells me not to ake it but I am beyond caution abouts meds.

Have you tried the Pregesterone creams?  It takes up to 2 months to get into the system but it does help.  Get on the internet and research it and see what you think.  I do not use the Natural but the one with the wild yam in it.

Tomorrow there is a chance you will feel better.  I keep telling myself that and it does happen.
