Recently did some research regarding AutoImmune diseases and herbs. I found a specific plant called the Kalawalla, as well as Hydrangea Root

being beneficial to regulating the Immune system, a molecule found in this root stops Th17 cells being made, without affecting the other CD4+ T cells, so it shows how it might be possible to stop the immune system from over-producing harmful Th17 cell responses...as quoted from a site online. Also the Kalawalla as well as Licorice herbs are very good in regulating and "calming down" our Immune systems from causing the cells to "attack the tissues".  it is also antiinflammatory. I think this is very promising as it has been linked to treat ms, arthritis, chrons disease etc..Lichen Sclerosis can also be treated with this in my opinion as it is shown as being autoimmune disease...

Thanks for these details.  I've been concerned about stimulating the immune system as this can cause more harm as it is over-active in the lst place to create autoimmune disease, e.g. a naturopath told me not to take echinacea for this reason.

to tell you the truth, before all this knowledge i had this condition, I was extremely health conscious with loads of supplements and vitamins...i wonder if this played a part? it's confusing to pin point what brought it on as mine is hereditary (mother has it) so i really think it could be autoimmune that can be genetic (such as aids babies born to mothers with the disease) idk doing a lot of research atm..

I'm interested in how this works for you, but the hit I chose to click on was one of those loud selling sites. It was selling kalawalla as a 'miracle' cure for vitiglio. So, anybody who's curious, don't click on the vitiglio natural cure link.

same here. hey anything natural can't hurt. but there are a lot of scams out there. this one was backed up with scientific facts so it made a lot of sense. we shall see..
