Going up stairs after transitioning to weight bearing

I am 6 weeks post-op. Broke the Tib and Fib, plate on one side with 6 screws. 1 screw on the other side.

I see my Doc next week which will be 7 weeks post op. My foot has touched the floor at total of 3 times since my surgery, which is not bad from what I can see. I stepped on it once for 1 second. Besides that 2 other toe taps.

I expect she is going to transition me to 25% weight bearing. Which I believe is just a toe touch for balance.

My issue is I am moving in 2 weeks and need to pack stuff. Does partial weight bearing just mean standing ? For instance, could I be standing and packing stuff or is will I still need to be assisted with crutches?

There are also a lot of stairs in my new place, I am thinking I will still need to go up and down on my butt. Which leads me to my next question. When will I be able to go up and down stairs?

Been a long 6 weeks and I am really hoping the x-ray shows good results.

Appreciate any feedback.
