gold and tramadol medications.

have been on gold injections and tramadol oral for 18months.just wondered what side effects other people have on same medication please.many thanks.

    i don't know anyone being treated with gold as a first option for RA. Mostly people have DMARDS such as methotrexate, sulfasalazine or hydroxychloroquine.

    Does it work for you? I ask because tramadol is a strong painkiller. I only use paracetamol for pain as the disease is well controlled with my other meds.

      I do apologise rowbirdie if I mislead you.gold isn't my first ever med.ive had sulpasalazine and hydroxy chloroquine.the latter with results I'd rather forget.but strangely tramadol is the 1st real painkiller as i define them I have had.i asked what others had experienced as side effects as I've had unreal discharge from my nose which is awful grey never had before and wondered if anyone has same.many thanks Ivan.
