Oh man - you are brave. Maybe go to the driving range first ...

Just 'cause you are cleared doesn't mean a full day is a good idea! But then ... you only live once.

    Have un.

    hi red,

    congratulations !!!!

SO you had your follow up appointment and the "all clear-no restrictrions" form your doctor -

You know your body best so, go for it ... don't overdo it - no need to prove anything to anybody --

    driving range sounds smart ...

have you gone back to work yet?

    Well done Red,

    big warm hug

      Renee,

Back to work Monday right into the fire. I'm a construction welder and the job I'm going back to is five ten hour days and one eight hour day. If you can't do the work you get laid off. The nature of the beast. I'm sure I will be tired lots of lifting weight up to 100 lbs kneeling, and stairs and ladders and crawling in ditches. Only four and s half years until retirement.

wow !!!!   you are an amazing man ... that took a lot of determination, motivation, discipline and dedication to get where you are right now in such a short time ---

Oh please, enjoy the tournament in celebration of a job well done -

      hats off to Red

      big warm hug

That is great you got the all clear for playing golf etc...

I go in a little while for my 6 week follow up.  I hope to get the clearance at the 12 week mark to play tennis & raquetball, and in my dreams to be cleared for hockey then as well.

My first hip replacement 3 1/2 yrss ago, I started working after 7 weeks, my job includes a lot of bending/lifting, I just found out, I should have waited another 5 weeks !

Good Luck in your tourney !!!!

      Rich,

I got a note from the doctor saying I can return to work with no restrictions. I'm a pipe welder and pipefitter. A lot more twisting and bending doing that. I take it at no restrictions are no restrictions.
