      Hi sue,

There is a thread called 'op dates for hippies to be'. If you could add your op date to that thread we can keep an eye out for you and offer encouragement and get well wishes on the day.

      Thanks.

Lol it's only about the 2nd or 3rd thread on the first page. Just been to check for myself as I was beginning to think I was going mad too but no, there it is 😂

just a waiting game now, sitting here in my paper budgie smugglers! Supposed to be going to theatre about 10.30 hopefully. I can't decide whether to have spinal or GA anaesthetic? Any ideas? regards Mark

      Hi Mark,

I'll be in your shoes/paper pants tomorrow at this time, so thoughts are with you. I've not had the op yet, obviously, but having read everyone's thoughts I think spinal plus light sedation is the way to go. It seems you aren't really aware of what's going on, but also recover really quickly. It's anything to avoid feeling sick for me that drives it, but there are other advantages I think.

      All best

Thanks Angela, think I'm gonna do the spinal for the reasons you said. Best wishes for tomorrow, we will all be dancing soon! xx
