Hi all I thought I'd post an update. I had my mua yesterday due to a bend of what was apparently only 30 by the time I got to the table! I spent 6 hours on a cpm machine and now can easily get 90 and reckon I am reaching 110 if I try hard. it hurts but I am so so impressed! Thought it would make a nice change to pass on good news!

Great news. Glad to hear you had success with your MUA.

I had my TKR back in May and then a MUA in August I've only missed 1 week of PT since May. I'm still no better than about minus 10 on flex and 70 bending. I have another appointment with my surgeon on Friday. I need something to get me going, my PT has just about given up (he did give up) he can over power me to get a bend but the pain was so bad I couldn't take it. He got 2 bends about 3 weeks ago and it took a full week for the pain to subside. My wife was thinking maybe I should look into getting hypnotized, anybody have any experience with this as a way to deal with the pain?

I had accupuncture and hypnosis (same guy) to relieve my Restless Leg Syndrome.  Worked out very, very well...

I'm at 102 degrees but my ortho says if I'm not a lot better in 4 weeks, ha wants to discuss mua. Are you not in much pain?? It sounds excruciating to me!!

I am in more pain than I was beforehand but it's bearable and worth it! My OS would have been thrilled with 102 and left me be......I don't think I would have been though! Off to pt this morning to be measured!!
