Hi all,
It's been a while since I last posted, mainly because I've felt tons better. The anxiety hasn't completely gone but it has eased off dramatically, which gives me hope for full recovery. I've been on the meds since early April, almost all of it on 20mg.
While the physical symptoms have lessened
I do feel like my mind is still over active. Mostly I seem to be having songs stuck in my head every day all day long. It's a bit distressing and I'm finding myself worrying about it. Does/did anyone else get that and does/did it go as anxiety eases off? I guess
2.5 months in I'm still at early days and can expect to be going back and forth a bit.

wow yes, your the only one that i heared of with this, i thought i was ha, playing songs in your head phrases etc all side effects of cit, i never mentioned this to anyone myself because i thought they would think i was crazy, but yes its normal, try to count to 5 in your head each time a song pops in, its worrying i know, been there, i still get slightly overthinking but nothing like before, i believe the cit is balancing you out, its crazy isnt it? much luck.

Thanks Chris, good to know I'm not alone! I guess with anxiety I can expect to have all sorts of symptoms. It's a really strange condition indeed!

I am exactly the same. I notice it more at bed time and if I wake through the night. If it really starts to bother me I listen to my audio books until I fall asleep. It helps a lot. Try not to let it get you down. I reckon the singing is nothing compared to what it could be. 😉

I've started worrying about it which is probably why I'm having them. Had that a while ago but it went, now it's been a week of constant music. Fed up! 😉

Thats great news. Im still hoping to see improvement. Im closing in on 9 weeks of 30mg and still not great. When did you start to feel better? I think I remember you being 2 weeks ahead of me.

I would say there was a dramatic change in physical symptoms just under two weeks ago. But now I have this jukebox thing I'm not sure which is worse. 😕 Any improvements for you yet?

Some improvement but mornings are still tough. Went on a vacation two weeks ago and had a good time. Better than I expected. But, came home and still about the same. The dr has just advised I split my dose between morning and night to see if we can get the morning more under control. I'm on day 3 of that. 20mg in morning and 10mg in evening.

Keeping my fingers crossed it helps! I'm wondering if 20mg is possibly too much for me as my brain feels like its on overdrive. Although generally symptoms are better.
Oddly I've started having really bad night sweats that I didn't have before, started a good month into the meds.

Thanks. Im still thinking 30 is too much but dr wants to try this first instead of messing with the dose yet. Maybe if you get stable enough on the 20, you can try 15 after like three months or something.
