Got Anal fistula surgery done a week back. I still getting very small amount of poop from fistula?

Hi

I am in depression.

It has been 8 days post surgery and i still see small amount of poop coming out of fistula opening?

Spoke to doc, says it is normal.

Any advice, suggestion, experience. Pl share as it is driving me nut!

Am i never going to heal?

    I have the same worry. Its been 10 days since surgery and this morning while removing the gauze before excrement a huge fragment of feces was sticking out through the external opening.

    This is making me sleepless

    Typing this at 1:40 am . Somebody please see this.
