Got diagnosed with BV

I had protected sex with someone new 9 days ago and went to the doctor 4 days after due to extreme burning. I was told I have BV and was given antibiotics. They finish tomorrow, but I am still having a lot a lot of burning. The burning is so bad it is hard to sleep at night. I've never had BV, so I do not know if this is some what normal or not. I was tested for basic STDs and was negative. I do not have any lumps, bumps, or sores around my area, but I do not if it could be herpes. Any insight would help! I plan on going back to the doctor on monday.

May be you have an allergy to the rubber or lubricating products you used.

    Best check with your doctor.

    Good luck
