GOUT - Is this a normal symptom?....

Hi,

I have never had gout before, until now (possibly). I am not obese, or even overweight, I do not drink or eat much red meat or seafood.... so not sure how I managed to get gout - if that's what it is... I did have the covid booster 2 days before this appeared, so I am thinking that may have been the cause...

The possible gout is in my big toe on right foot.

One thing I want to ask is...

I have had a constant feeling of pressure in my toe, when lying down the pressure and pain this causes has generally been mild to modest, but when I get up and dangle my leg over the bed, the pressure increase can be immense to the point where it feels like my toe is about to explode and this is where the pain is most intense...

I am wondering if this is a common symptom of gout or a possible sign of something else, maybe a fracture?
