My son had total hip replacement at 18 filling a total slipped upper femeral epythies he was pain free for 6 years now 24

Has any one experience thigh pain groin pain a long while after he has had to take 2 weeks off work as so bad and is getting very low as our Gp says cant see any fractures on xray so why pain she wont refer him back to rnoh Stanmore . He saw doctor night before slip in 2005 and was told knee thigh hip pain was growing pains sorry I don't trust my Gp as this is too specialist sorry just need to rant 😒

    Hi Jaqs, You must be pulling your hair out. Bad enough when it's ypurself, can't imagine if it was one of my kids! The RNOH was the only place I got any real help. They have been fantastic. Good luck with everything. Sending all my good wishes and thoughts.

      Thankyou , yes they are brilliant I was told best in Europe mr nejad understands the devastating affect it has on young people .

    Just thinking about you and though to check in to see how everything is going.

    Lots of hugs and good wishes for your son and you ... (my daughter suffered a bad concussion this spring and it was excruciating to see her in such pain and uncertainty about recovering). So I understand a little of what you must be feeling.

      I had a concussion 2 years ago I am still getting neck and shoulder pain and headaches every few weeks last one I was checked for a TUA it takes time my specialist said may have damaged a disc in neck so getting that checked out . I hope your daughter makes a full recovery .
