Hello, I have been to the hospital and seen by a doctor,, he told me he can't refer me to an MRI scan because my GP need to do that, does he mean I have to book an appointment with any doctor in my GP surgery? or does it have to be a specific doctor that i have to speak with to refer me?

Any GP can refer for an MRI scan but they will probably ask you for more details as to why you need one.
