GP thinks I have SVT

I had a funny turn as i call it in my kitchen a couple of months back where my heart started racing for no reason and i thought i was going to pass out. Had another episode at work last week, i thought it could be panic attacks but my gp thinks its SVT so im having lots of tests and have been referred to a cardiologist. Its very scary and i dread it happening again. i feel really lethargic and everything feels like an effort since my doctor told me but i think thats anxiety and my mind making me feel this way.

Can anyone offer any pearls of wisdom to stop me worrying so much?

I have had SVT my whole life and it's really hasn't stopped me from doing anything. Yes, I do often think about when the next episode may occur, but I know that the condition is benign and I've never had to visit the ER for it. I was recently prescribed a "pill in the pocket" medication that can be taken as needed if an episode occurs, and that has provided even more reassurance for me.
