Grade 1 laryngopharyngeal

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi, 69 year old UK resident with severe reflux at the moment. Diagnosed with sliding hiatus hernia 2019 since then symptoms gradually worsening. ENT referral diagnosed grade 1 laryngopharyngeal reflux. GP changed medication to another PPI but not a lot of change. Not overweight, stopped all things per recommendations still very bad symptoms. Has anybody found research on whether this does actually heal itself over time or how bad it must get or how long if or when it can develop into more serious condition,Barrett or cancer etc. Many thanks.
