Grainy feeling after OP?

Posted , 8 users are following.

Wife feels like a grain in the eye. I assume she is feeling the cut from surgery? She did not feel it before.

Could it be because she started work 2 days ago so constantly looking at the screen is causing more eye dryness, hence she started feeling since yesterday?

Google says eye or eye nerve that get cut during cataract surgery take 2-6 weeks to heal and regenerate. Tomorrow will be 2 full weeks since surgery.

Visually eye looks same as non operated eye

Thanks.

what the nurse suggested to me while using all the Rx drops, use the single use vial up per eye to help wash out all goop. i also lost eye lashes, but they grew back. unfortunately my eyelids have now drooped, but not interfering with vision just yet ahhh the signs of aging aren't they fun 😕

Our private eye doc suggested that too. To use the multiple tear drops in the morning to wash out the gels and other stuff that have built up overnight.

Wife was taking Floxal, in gel form and it was very sticky and blur inducing, 4 times a day!!!!

Was not easy to wash it off with the drops though. One week later we got liquid version of Floxal and that was much better!

I think the gel version must be superior though.
