grandson 18 has severe pain left testicle rang 101 NHS helpline said he should go to the hospital

In view of present situation re pandemic dont like idea of attending A & E says he will wait to contact GP on Monday

    I'm not sure I would want to go A&E at the moment but it would all depend on what the reason was,, you say he has severe pain in the left testicle,, does he remember perhaps lifting some thing heavy which could have twisted it in some way or has he been cycling or taken up a new activity recently

    If you have been told to go to A/E by 101 then you should go. There is a painful condition of the testicle that requires treatment immediately and not in a few days. A torsion.A/E are stressing that they are open for business as usual. Please go.
