Great weakness in legs and numbness. Help!

Hey there! I've been feeling a weakness/tiredness problem with my legs and more exactly calf muscles and now it's getting to my arms too. My legs get very tired with the smallest amount of activity and if I walk more I feel my legs and calf muscles almost numb, and cannot tell if they're tired or not in that zone. I am a bit unstable when standing up. It doesn't get better with sleep and I walk with some lack of confidence feeling as if I'm walking only thanks to inertia and sometimes it seems hard lifting my feet off the ground. In the begging my legs felt as if I have been travelling sit for a long time. It's been getting worse every day for almost two months now and I'm really scared cause it's not been off for a day as I can remember and I've been considering myself calm during most of the time. But it's that the last 2 days I feel very stressed out cause of all these sensations.
I'm having a bit of dizziness and lightheadness and some previous day's some respiratory difficulties.
I've had a lot of blood analytics done and a CT scan and everything seems to be fine. And I went to a neurologist today which only did physical exploration and told me it seemed okay, but just in case he appointed me an EMG and ENG that I'm gonna do in a few days.
Also I feel as if my body is shaking on the inside especially around my shoulders upon waking up.
Has anyone experienced any of these symptoms and have any help/advice?

Hi naviii
i'm so sorry you are not feeling well and are concerned about your symptoms.
when I was in my 20s I suddenly felt very weak and I had some tingling in my arms and legs. I had many other symptoms also but my test came out normal. All of the symptoms were due to stress and anxiety.
Do you have a history of anxiety? If so that could be the reason why you feel this way.
Anxiety can cause hundreds of different symptoms including weakness and dizziness. Sometimes people feel as though they can't breathe in enough air. I also felt the vibration inside my body sometimes in my head, sometimes in my chest or arms and legs. Keep in mind that any symptoms caused by anxiety cannot hurt you. They are scary and feel weird but that's all they can do.
you can start working on reducing your anxiety right away. I listen to meditations on YouTube for anxiety every day. They totally calm down my mind and body and symptoms. The more you practice the more control you will have over the anxiety and symptoms. There are many meditations to choose from. If you have headphones or earbuds use them for a better effect.
another one that really relaxes my symptoms and my whole body is one called "mindfulness breathing meditation guided 10 minutes" this is a short one but very important to learn when you feel anxious or afraid.
remember that the more we think about or sometimes the worst they will get. Try to do things that relaxed you.
if you get a negative thought, don't try to fight it off because it will get worse. What you do is in a relaxed manner, observe the fought for a few seconds. Just let it be there for a short time. Be an observer. Then after that imagine it floating off and dissolving.
you're going to be OK. Please let us know how you're doing! ??????

Hey Jan. Thanks for replying and sharing your experience!
I have had the EMG done and everything seemed fine. I also had a very complete blood tests and these are also okay. And before that I've been to the cardiologist and had a torax scanned and nothing seems wrong there. But this thing is evolving quickly and getting worse by the day. I've been waking up every morning with my legs as if I've been walking for hours and my hands kind of numb and tired too. I have some trouble breathing from time to time and also the pulsating feeling all over my body but mostly in my shoulders that seems as if my heart pumps stronger, not faster. When I lay in bed in silence I can hear sheets movement from the pulsations around my head. I also get some feeling in my head as it is empty and some difficulty concentrating. And every time I sit straight on a rigid chair with backrest I feel a strange disconnection and discomfort at my lower back.
These days my extremities feel heavy and it takes me an unusual effort to lift my hands over my shoulders or to hold my camera, and my hands get tired just from holding my phone. Also things like washing hands or cutting food have turned strange to me, not feeling the same way as before and questioning how it's done or if I will be able to write or draw anything for university. Picking up things right from the first try has been another challenge for the last few days.
I went for a run the other day and I did 3,5km but it happened as before, the feeling as if my legs are just there for support but I don't feel them working or control them well. Though I can still walk and carry things and everything I've been having some mental break downs for the last two days, that I don't think are helping me in any way. Doctors told me the next step is psychiatry but I'm well aware of myself and I know the main thing is not anxiety anymore. I still get some of its symptoms, but I know they're just temporary so I don't panic anymore with these. I've been very busy and going out with friends this past week and having my mind on fun and productive thoughts and the main problems are not going away.
I have another medical exams programmed like magnetic resonance and another EMG, but these will be done in April and from what I've been going through for the past two and a half months I can't imagine how things could be then.
I will be keeping you updated.
I think I'm going to switch to the neurological section or maybe the cardiovascular one to see if someone knows what can cause this symptomatology and help me a bit, because not a single doctor has given me any advice or recommendation to minimize the symptoms or treat anything and I'm trying some remedies myself, but nothing is working. I'll appoint a physiotherapist soon to see if it brings me some improvement.
Talk to you soon. ?

I don't have numbness but my legs get tired too and I used to have that shakiness feeling like my body was trembling. It was but it went away after some time. I rested and decided to try to eat more and stay hydrated if that didn't work try taking breaks and sit down. I don't know what it is. I was also scared it was something bad. But it went away I never knew what it was. From waking up I was shaking and had weakness in my legs too. 💖🙌Take Care
