Green phlegm for 8 months now

I have this situation going on which is not harming me in any way but I'm worried. It would be a great help if anybody could explain this.

So this started as a dry cough in March... then later along with cough i started coughing orange phlegm.

Later in May the lungs started making wheezing sounds while breathing ... then after June everything became normal except the phlegm... now the cough is gone completely but the only thing that stayed is the green and yellow phlegm... every morning i spit this green or yellow phlegm without having any other problems like cough or headache or fever or anything..

In August I got a chest x ray and did a blood test.. X ray was completely normal but the blood test wasn't...

The doctor said its a mild blood infection and gave some medicines.... i can say that the green phlegm issue has slightly gotten better since i started working out for past 2 weeks but this hasn't gone completely yet.

Please anybody could explain that how long will it take to heal completely or something about this condition it would be really a great help.

P.S. I don't smoke or drink alcohol either.
