Green Stools

I've been having green stools for the past 3 months with alternating between diarreah and constipation but mainly constipation. Yes I am aware of what im eating and i my diet consist of alot of greens. But even the days or long term of eating no greens or taking any type of supplement it is still green. I ve been seeing a naturopath in addition to my GI dr. My naturopath says it's a buildup of toxins from liver and has me doing a liver cleanse.. Since I've been doing the cleanse I've been having achiness in the liver/ gallbladder area and pain radiating throughout my back. My GI dr is finally sending me for stool testing in which i had to be persistent with him . I had the same problem last year and he kept insisting that it's nothing. The problem went away briefly and now it back again. He's checking me for parasites( which my alternative dr says I have) , pancreas, and infection. Anyone ever experience this?

Keep a food diary to identify if any particular green vegetable is not digesting properly.  If this shows up a problematic food, cut it from your diet.  Maybe try coming off supplements too; maybe the supplements could be causing the the stool colour change.

It depends what supplements you are taking.   Different supplements take different times
