Green tea and Type 2

Is green tea OK when diagnosed with Type 2 and taking insulin?

?I've always started the morning with a cup, and now that I've just gotten into this insulin thing I added a second cup later in the day.  My numbers have dropped very nicely over the past few days.  Do we think the green tea has anything to do with that?  Is it a good idea?  Thanks.

There has been researchers that believe polyphenols can help stimulate insulin activist. It possibly "stimulates enzymes to help metabolize sugars".

This is not really widely accepted as gospel. I personally don't think it does a think as I drink it too but my numbers are as erratic as ever. I'd say it depends on the individual, but if it works for you in glad you've found something you enjoy that contributes to your health!! Good luck.
