Greyish/black color in my husband's areola area

I'm wondering how I can send a picture of different things on my husband's skin. I used the optical reader on my phone & took pics as with this tool u can magnify everything. My husband's too stubborn to go to the dr. So I'd like to post a few pics I took so someone can help my husband to see if it is serious that he DOES need to take care of it. Thank you

    Hi Acts238lady,

If you have photos of the problem areas then take them to yojr gp.Hopefully they can ake an educated guess at this stage but they would still insist on seeing your husband personally. Telll yourhusband that from one man to another, my wifes endless nagging got me to the gps and on to the Dermatology clinic where I was diagnosed with stage 1 malignant melanoma. Stop mucking around, get real and get it sorted.

Thank you for your response. Prior to seeing your response, I sent the photos of new brown spots that are on my husband's skin along with old photos to someone who worked at Syntex Labs & dealt with different skin diseases & they said it looked as though the photos were of melanoma. sad I'm so glad you went to the Dr's in time & pray you are in remission. Our oldest son had cancer & is now in remission. I hope that anyone who questions new spots or moles on their skin would please just get it looked at! It could end up being a matter of living a longer life because something serious was caught in time.

    Hi Acts238lady,

They removed 3 suspect moles and discovered that the one on my forearm was malignant melanoma and then removed a further chunk of flesh to completely erradicate it, hopefully. Then my dentist sent me back to the same hospital, facial surgery this time, because I have lichen planus on the roof of my mouth. It was decided that a biopsy should be carried out and a section of the roof of my mouth was cut out, the injections of local anaesthetic for that are not very nice, nor the smell of burning flesh during the cauterisation process, but, if it saves your life then that is the trade off. Now I have to wait for the results. Sorry if I went into to much detail but for others reading this that may be facing a simular thing I feel it is important to know a little suffering now is better than a lifetime of suffering later. Must admit my mouth is really sore even after all the painkillers I am on. Best wishes for your husband/partner.
