hi all advice needed i have pi ibs just had clear bloodtests and like many more of you the drs see that as golden and told me to try the fodmap and sent me on my way! we think sertraline was making it worse so have stopped taking them! it has all got a bit better but i have noticed my bum sometimes feels a bit moist and there will be like a whiteish discharge does this sound like ibs just to put my mind at rest please thanks Linzi 😊

    Does the whiteish discharge come from your bum when you have a bowel movement? If it does, this is mucus which is very common with IBS.

    Hi just wondering how did they determine you had PI Ibs if your blood tests were clear?

    What were your symptoms?

    I have just been diagnosed with PI Ibs or she called it PI SBBO post infectious after semonella 7 months ago.

    I believe what the others say about the mucous although I don't get that.

    Go back and ask the doctor to confirm and worry causes all sorts of things too. I sympathize

      Hiya when all this started I had just returned from Mexico long story short when the hospital first did my blood tests I had a high infection in my bloods then I passed a blood clot they said it was the infection passing and now my bloods are clear tbats how they said post ibs ☺️
