Gross but any advice appreciated

HI , I'm sure having crohns and UC nothing will really freak u lot out but I just wanted to ask if anyone has like an orange jelly in their poo! I've noticed a few times this week. On Saturday last week I had a terrible night, sweating, shaking, near vomiting (it never came) and then sudden bouts of diarrhea. I felt dreadful then fine once it had passed. For the next few days I had normal BMS (5 a day is normal for me) but noticed orange jelly like stuff on wiping. I've had lower back pain for days and not felt like eating and today the right sided pain has returned sad Any info greatly appreciated thanks

I understand the orange jelly stuff could be mucus from the inflammation.  When the flare dies down so does the mucus,

Thanks Paul. I'm making notes for "if" I ever see a consultant again. Not holding my breath but the advice on here is invaluable and you guys are so much more knowledgeable than someone who doesn't suffer this awful disease yet controls whether or not you get treated for it sad

    Hi jobs,

I had the same thing but couldn't get the inflammation under control.

Once I had surgery it stopped.

    Hope you get it sorted
