Growth in corner of eye

I had a tiny crack right in the corner nexr to my eyes years ago, it eventually healed with some drops. it always left a slight raised area where it was though. But now in the last couple of months it has started to grow a little and has attached itself to the little pink fleshy bit in the corner of my eye. it doesn't hurt, I was wondering if it was some kind of wart or lesion? has anyone every had anything similar or know what it is? thanks
