Growth in the face

Hello

in the past few weeks a skin lesion appeared on my face.

the growth has a cone shaped and it occasionally itches. it has around 5mm diameter and it's kind of rough to the touch.

It seems to have a slight indent in the middle.

I went to the GP, he looked at it and thinks it's seborrheic keratosis and prescribed an ointment for 2 weeks. I have been applying the ointment for 1 week already but haven't noticed any difference.

what intrigues me also is that I think this grew out of a spot that I think it was on my face before in the same place.

it doesnt bleed or ooze but it doenst look like it's calming down either.

should I be worried about this?

I will see my GP in a week time and will ask him to refer me to a specialist. But if this is worrying I would make an immediate appointment with a dermatologist right away to try to get it removed urgently. I am afraid that I am wasting time.

I have pics attached. Can someone offer some advice if this is worrying please?
