Growth On Penis, Is It Cancer?

I have this raised bump on one side of my penis. It basically makes my penis look swollen on one side.

I have phimosis and I'm not sure what it is or could be. Is it possibly cancer? Also my penis is colder

than usual and feels harder. image

Does anyone know what it could be?

I'd go get it checked but did this suddenly appear?

Do you smoke, a abuse drugs or have an std?

How far can you retract your foreskin?

Try to stretch the opening everyday every break you can and soon enough you wont have phimosis anymore. Also how old are you?

I don't smoke nor have an STD.

I can't retract it far, the bump

gets in the way. I'm 18.

      The bump wasn't always there.

it hasn't went away in over

      two weeks but I don't

      think it's gotten bigger.

      Could this be cancer?

      I have an appointment

      with an Urologist

but its in two months from now

and I don't know if I should wait

      that long. There's no earlier

      openings.

How fast did this bump appear?

Given the only known risk factors for penile cancer are STDs, drug use and smoking I doubt it would be penile cancer. Seriously consider stretching your foreskin, in two months you could have the ability to retract it if you kep at it everyday. What your doctor is going to do is probably recommend a circumcision and then proceed with what he finds after hes removed your foreskin. While this may seem logical but there are other ways to do this without removing your foreskin. You could stretch it or yu ou can have a surgery that opens the opening of the foreskin up a bit. I find that the stretching is very pain free and financially free, whereas the opening surgery is slightly painful but heals quickly. Circumcision is heavily painful, very expensive and takes forever to heal (not to mention it dries your dick out, forces it to rub against clothing and us very uncomfortable while doing so and reduces sensitivity in some males immediately but will reduce sensitivity later in life over time due to callusing)

Do you live in the United states by chance?

I'm afraid of circumcision, especially possible complications that can occur.

I have tried creams though. My doctors know they can't see what's going

on with my penis with my phimosis so they gave me creams months ago.

Those creams don't help me though, especially since the bump makes it

painful to attempt retracting my foreskin. My foreskin already feels weak

and gets micro tears easily. I most likely have to go through will surgery

whether that's a cut in my foreskin or a full on circumcision. Maybe they

could do scanning? I don't know. I do live in the US.

Being a victim of many complications due to circumcision I would recommend that you get it opened up as compared to a circumcision. Being that you are 18 I think you can get on Medicaid or your parents insurance to help. Scans arent likely. Keep stretching the opening every day and I know you'll be able to just see what the lump is and be able to retract your foreskin.
