Last Thursday my right eye was itching.didnt think much about it,till the next day it puff off massively.

Then I decided to do something about it, I went to Moorfields hospital.

Waited for couple of hours till I see the doctor and they diagnose me with blepharitis. They gave me amoxicillin.

Then I decided enough is enough.

Boil the kettle. Compress with

Camomile tea and tea tree oilusing wipes. X6 night and day. Afterwards use cotton bulb to clean eye lids.

Use electric tooth brush.take off the brush bit and cover the top with a clean cloth by dipping it in the Camomile tea and tea tree oil. Gently go around the eye lid.

Then use hot bottle of water and lay the affected area till morning.

Strange that moorfields gave you amoxicillin for blephartis, I thought blephartis is a side effect from some antibiotics including amoxicillin

Hi , I very much doubt that the anti-biotics were the deciding factor in the cure and certainly not the amoxicillin . maybe if you hadn't had many antibiotics in your life beforehand as i'm sure there is a blepth link with overuse of antibiotics during one's life time .

It's more likely that it's your care to detail with you cleaning regime has done the trick . Be on guard though as i'd cleared my posterior blepth and had a 4 week holiday from the condition and then it returned .

Your blepth is it the messy anterior blepth or the MGD dry posterior blepth .

Out to get the wipes before every clears the shelves !

Thanks for sharing your cleansing routine .
