Gums dropped after brushing too hard

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hi guys,

On Wednesday I decided to really try to brush the gum surrounding my bottom front two teeth. This resulted in my gums dropping significantly and causing a few ulcers to form. I have attached an image underneath. Is this reversible? I am seeing a dentist on Thursday to see what he has to say about this.

Any help would be great 😃

You probably have scrubbed your gums a little too much and caused the soreness and ulcers. Better to brush twice per day and use an interdental brush before the regular brushing.Your gums look healthy to me and I'm sure they will recover. If you can use a gel or mouthrinse which contains Hyaluron that will help to heal the soreness.Use it after brushing and before going to bed. Dont rinse it out. You only need a tiny bit of the gel. Its called Gengigel and helps to keep gums healthy.
