My gums have receded terrible, my teeth are now really sensitive because of this, I can no longer have them cleaned at the dentist unless they knock me out...lol

Yes me too Caz, I find it near impossible to eat any cold food, it is so painful, I wondered why all of a sudden, they were reseeding quite bad, never thought it was down to peri, yet another symptom to add to the list 😬😬😬

Yes. My teeth hurt a lot a few months ago. Thought I had cavities or major tooth decay. Hot & cold things were supersensitive. I would wince anytime I drank anything cold. Turned out I didn't have any cavities or decay. I did switch my toothpaste to Sensodyne Pronamel, and is much better now. So maybe try a different toothpaste. Someone in this forum mentioned clove toothpaste, but not sure where you find that. Maybe try online or health/vitamin store.

Hope your teeth feel better soon.

Are you in the Menopause age group or older? Body odour can change as the hormones in your body change.     Gums can recede as well and teeth can start to ache as enamel is lost.        Try using a mouth gel called Gengigel which will help your gums to stop receding and if your dentist will prescribe it try Duraphat toothpaste.  Only on prescrioption in UK but it does stop the sensitivity.
