Gynecologist doing polyp removal in hospital?

Posted , 1 user is following.

hello,

i went to my gyno for a D & C with a hysteroscopy. However, during my visit he did not remove the polyps he found. He told me i would have to go back to see him in a hospital and it would be removed with anesthesia. why is this?

i had a d & c a few months back with another Gyno and he did the procedure in his office. Mind you, i had a horrible experience with this doctor. But its just strange to me that i have to go back to get the polyps removed. is this normal?

Note: i was previously diagnosed with complex atypical hyperplasia. This doctor is trying to decide how we should deal with this.
