gynecologist visit today finally

finally got my referral to a gynecologist. She was great and well informed.
She gave me Estrace to use nightly for two weeks and then twice weekly after that. she said since I am healthy and premenapausal that I should have good results with it healing the vulva tissure and even reversing scar tissue. She told me it was ok to use at same time as Clob. and could even mix the two together on my finger before applying.
she was concerned with the amount of scar tissue and atrophy that I have. next week she is going to do a biopsy( Ive never had one) and a vulvoscopy to look at the rest of the vulva tissue to see if there is something else besides LS going on.
She believes that possibly postpartum drop in hormones set it off for me since I got it right after giving birth to my secon son.
really wish a doctor would have referred me to a gyn sooner. would of paid out of my pocket to see one if i could of afforded it. I just dont understand the hesitance in some doctors, if they are not educated on it enough they should direct you to some one who is immediately.
I have hopes about the estragen cream
she also said she did not see any signs of cancerous tissue.

I've just been told that the estrogen cream makes the skin more flexible. In my case the gynacologist prescribed Premarin.
The hesitation for reverral to a specialist could be because of health insurance policies and limitations put on doctors.
Good healing I wish you.
