H/A headahces and nausea?

Ok here it goes,
About two years ago to this date I started experiencing weird, constant headaches that felt like tension around my scalp, forehead, eyes, and neck. They persisted for a month until I finally had a CT scan w/contrast. As soon as my Neuro said I found nothing, the pain went away. It was a very bizarre validation of my hypochondria.
Three days ago, I was recovering from a hangover when I took so ibuprofen. The pain went away and came back later that night. On Monday, I began realizing the pain is very similar to the one a couple of years back, this time with nausea in the mix. I've made an appointment with my Neuro to talk about this. My questions are:
1. Have any of you dealt with chronic tension headaches that might be triggered by anxiety?
2. Could anxiety be causing my nausea? I'm very aware that headaches and nausea are a red flag so I'm wondering if something in my subconscious is making me feel this way.
3. Should I be worried?
Thank you all!

I think you are answering your own questions
1. That's all it is, a tension head ache. There are various things you can do to alleviate the problem. Drink a lot more water, meditate, mindfulness exercises, yoga or tai-chi. Chiro works great to relieve the pain. It's all it is, a tension headache. It will go away as soon as you relax and stop thinking about it. Obviously with some treatment mentioned above.
2. Nausea is a reaction to your nervousness. It's nothing. Body's natural reaction to stress.
3. Worry when you have something to worry about. So far, you have very normal symptoms of stress and possibly need to change some of your habits to improve your overall health

Ugh I get such bad tension headaches from my anxiety! I had an MRI done bc I thought I had a tumor or something. I'd get cluster headaches, like little zap feelings on the left side of my head. Even when I was sleeping I would get them and it would wake me up! And then in general, my scalp would tingle and it would just feel like pressure and muscle tightness all over the back of my head, and the back of my neck too. It was horrible.
It lasted about 3 months for me, but it is slowly going away now. I do still get it back whenever I am feeling anxious again. Bc of that though, I've realized it's obv just anxiety. If it were something serious the MRI would have picked it up and it wouldn't come and go either. Same for you with ur CT and with how it disappeared for a while.
Also, tension headaches (just like migraines) can make you feel nauseous. That's a common symptom of them so I wouldn't worry about that either.

Hi, I’m having similiar (and more) here is my post incase it helps - I’m being told it’s anxiety by some people .......Hi all, since Dec 2017 I have been having almost daily (although it comes and goes each day, never all day) an Achy neck / weird woolly-dizzy head feeling that lasts seconds / drowsy at times / mild headaches / pain back of head / blurry eyes at times / pins and needles in back of both hands and forearms. Also seems at times that griping things like screw tops or cuff links / shirt cuff buttons get a bit more fiddly etc. Back ache is also another symptom that comes and goes and at times my legs feel heavy. It sometimes feels like "wet cement" sloshing around in my head for a second or 2....all very odd and specific but equally hard to explain and put into words with not consistency.
Checks / tests so far include:
- I have had a neck x-ray (showed age related arthritis only)
- blood test (lack of Vitamin D only)
- full MRI spine scan (few niggle things with very slight bulging of a neck disc but nothing serious)
- had 10 acupuncture / physio sessions
- had 4 separate physio sessions
- had 6 chiropractic sessions
- seen GP about 5 times (blood pressure seems okay)
- numerous sports massages
- about to start with an Osteopath (last option left !!)
despite above its still here, as say since Dec 2017 (although randomly completely stopped for 10 days recently but back all again).
I'm at a lost and its interfering with the quality of my life. My family seem to think its stress / anxiety related which i do suffer from but i truly believe its not, (even the docs seem to be at a loss now).
I'm a fit healthy 43 year old male - I don't drink / smoke and I'm not overweight etc, any sensible help would be greatly appreciated - many thanks.
